First off, thank you Angie for being so warm and welcoming from day one! It was such a pleasure to work with Angie; from getting to know each other, to her sharing her insight and knowledge that I hadn’t even considered, it made our day just perfect. I saw one photo that Angie had taken of an elopement on Haleakala, and I knew that’s what we were going to do- Angie made it so easy and it felt right. The day of our elopement worked out beautifully, the weather and lighting was spectacular, and Angie captured every aspect I wanted.. while still being natural. Our wedding day will always be a memory, and having the images and photo album will never let me forget how amazing our day was. I can go on and on, but you get the point. Thank you!!
I am so thankful for hiring Angie for so many reasons. First off she is an amazing photographer that was able to capture our beauty combined with the beauty of the island around us. Our photos ended up turning out as stunning as many of her examples online which was impressive considering the conditions of our shoot were not ideal. It was not just her impressive photographic art though, she was also instrumental in just about every element of our wedding. She was actually the very first person we officially hired and it was through working with Angie that we hired our wedding coordinator. Angie also helped us to not only pick our venue but also pick the specific location for our ceremony. Imagine our surprise when we showed up to our location and there were flowers spread out down our aisle and they looked amazing. I found out later that Angie called our coordinator and asked if we wanted some orchids that had accidentally been left in a hot car too long. Those were the flowers laid down in our aisle! As well Angie had been part of the emergency planning conference that happened before we arrived where everyone pulled together to find a new officiant due to the road closures and our original guy having to cancel. Working with Angie was an absolute pleasure. She helped our wedding go beautifully and she captured it all with style and grace. We highly recommend her!
Angie is amazing! I first wrote to her to see her availability for a Haleakala wedding. She was super quick to respond and this continued to be how she operates. You can expect Angie to be a subject matter expert when it comes to Maui weddings. I relied on her to help with my booking other local vendors. While she was my photographer for the wedding, she helped with so much more in terms of coordination. I 100% recommend her for anything Maui Wedding! She not only is a great photographer, but also great person! You can't go wrong with hiring Angie!
Angie made us feel so comfortable and the photos were SO amazing, straight out of a magazine! As a photographer myself I have high standards and am my own worst critic, but I was so impressed with the outcome of our photos. Plus if you're looking for someone extremely knowledgeable about what Maui has to offer Angie's your gal! I can't recommend Angie highly enough!
Wow!!!!…..That was the first thing we thought when we began our quest for a Photographer for our Maui Wedding and Angela was recommended. Once we read her bio and saw her work on her website, we absolutely knew she was the one! Once we began the process with her it just became more and more evident we made the right choice. She constantly provided support, advice and wisdom throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and with each meeting/correspondence we were put more and more at ease, so by the time we arrived in Maui she and us were exactly on the same page. We were lucky enough(in fact she insisted on it) to meet with her a week before the wedding to finalize our vision. And when we met we just didn’t finalize, we fell in love with the person she is….Professional, Passionate And Kind. And those three things shown bright in both our rehearsal dinner session and of course on our wedding day. Angela we feel went above and beyond for us, and if you’re looking for a photographer that will knock it out of the park for you look no farther than Angela Nelson. Even though we just got married, and haven’t received our finished product, we have no doubt that they will be outstanding. All in all, she is truly a wonderful person and a great artist, she helped make our day perfect.
