We had the best day! Mattie and Emily treated our family like friends. It was the perfect combo of snorkeling and fishing. Everyone from my retired in-laws to the seven and nine-year-old children enjoyed the day. After spending lots of time researching options we splurged on the private charter for 5 hours and we couldn’t be more pleased. It was perfect. We caught a 25# ono and some little tiny fish for the kids. I’ve never fished and they baited all the hooks for us which I was thankful for. Mattie cleaned the Ono and put some on ice for us (we are only here for one more day). He gave us direction on bringing it back to the Fairmount hotel. We plan to request the restaurant to cook it for our dinner tonight. We snorkeled at the 200 year old crater and it was spectacular. Emily took some go pro footage of my daughter snorkeling, which was above and beyond. We also went out to turtle beach and snorkled with two sea turtles. We appreciated spending the day with them. It felt like enjoying the water with old friends. The highlight of our trip.
By far one of the best experiences! The crew - Jesse & Matty - really made the whole experience a blast. They were fun and personable and also so knowledgeable about what they do. They followed dolphins when we saw dolphins and had us catching fish and after fish! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and would do over and over again with these guys. Highly recommend!
We booked a fishing trip and it did not disappoint! Capt Matty and crew Daena were awesome! They were super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They made our experience a very memorable one and we caught two huge Onos! Great trip, we will definitely book again!
We snorkeled. We fished. We ate yummy snacks. When you dream about Hawaii memories this is what they are made of. Mattie & Jesse completely customized the day to our needs. I would go out on the water with them every day we were here!
Matty and Matt were a great duo for our family fishing trip. My nephew is 8 and it was his first time deep sea fishing and they were very attentive to his questions and always ensuring he was having a great time. They gave us a thorough breakdown of how we were going to fish (trolling and reef) and the fish we would be catching. Boat was well stocked with everything we needed during our time. We’ll be booking Green Island Charters when we come back to Maui.
